Little known fact is there was no Cubbie flag as seen on vehicles at the time of the last World Series won by the Cubs. The closest example was when Frank Chance had shaved a Cubbie “C” into the back hair of catcher Johnny Kling during a clubhouse celebration after the 1908 World Series win causing Kling to change careers and become a professional pocket billiards player, but there was no Cubbie flag as we know it.

wonder what the last Cubbie flag looks like?
Can we please talk about the Bears now. They're 3-0 and their season is just getting started. The White Sox season died weeks ago to me.
Good point. I've never noticed that Sox fans hold onto baseball seasons long after they're dead. I should draw a comic about THAT!

predates the popularization of the automobile... so maybe it was some kind of horse blanket?

We got a poster today for Fan Appreciation Day!
And Juan was rewarding his left field fans by tossing t-shirts and wiffle balls to the left field bleacher schleps (myself included).
Juan is A OK in my book. Glad he's back next year.
