I would like to thank everyone who scooped up a copy of Three Years on the Palehose. I got rid of all 222 copies in a week. I may do a second printing sometime this summer, after Palehose 9 gets rolling for a bit.

My blogging pal Jim Margalus from SoxMachine has also put together a book, White Sox Outsider 2009. This book has a lot of words, if you're into that sort of thing. You should pick it up if you really want to prepare for the 2009 season.

The 2009 Baseball Season

Here’s the plan for my Summer:

1) Starting today, Smells Like Mascot will appear weekly on Yahoo’s baseball blog, Big League Stew. Look for it on Wednesdays. The image above will link you there.

2) A Chicago-centric Smells Like Mascot cartoon will continue to appear on the weekends in The Southtown Star newspaper. I’ll have mostly White Sox material for the Southside audience, but I’ll be free to drop a Bulls, Hawks, or Bears cartoon, if they are in the spotlight.

3) On Sunday, you will be able to buy my book, Three Years on the Palehose. More details at carlskanberg.com.

4) Palehose 9 will start Sunday, and it will be exclusively on the internet. This will be my pet art project. I make no promises about what you can expect. It will probably not look like the comic strips that you are used to, and it will be updated irregularly. It will be 98% awesome, and 2% milk. For the 4th season in a row, the Palehose will launch with pitchers and catchers. Be there Sunday.
