Is there anyone in the organization sagacious enough to seek Lord Stanley's Grail?

No, and they already have too many monkeys.

There was...but they just fired him.

seriously? If you think Denis Savard was going to bring this team a title, your sorely mistaken.

This organization is leaps and bounds closer to a cup, because Rocky and McDonough have cleaned house. Pully was first to go because he was out of touch (and had been for years). Savard is gone because he's a better friend than coach. Savvy could never get the PP working, dating back to the time he ran the PP units as an assitant. Next up? Dale Tallon, who has spent more years in the T.V. booth than in hockey operations.

These people were amateurs masquerading as professionals. Quenneville and Bowman are the real deal, and know how to win. You should be jumping for joy that the Hawks care enough about winning that they just took a PR lashing for firing a team legend. They want to win, and are willing to do whats necessary.

That last comment is probably right. The cartoon is commenting on how many changes McDonough has made in a year, and wondering when they will stop. I'm not saying any of the changes have been bad, yet.

McDonough's a Cub. The Hawks will never win. The Hawks are the only hockey team to be faced with the "ex-Cub factor".

I thought that the Ex Cub Factor only kicked in when there were two or more Ex Cubs on a team. One more and the Hawks are doomed.

Is it me or does the Indian look a little like Jim Belishi?
